Lead Designer

Southlake, Texas (in-person)
Full-time position

We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated Lead Interior Designer with a strong passion for residential design and a proven ability to guide projects from initial concept through final installation. The ideal candidate is a confident leader, creative problem-solver, and thoughtful communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative studio environment.

This role requires a balance of creativity, technical expertise, project management, and client-facing experience. You will lead multiple residential projects while mentoring junior team members and ensuring every detail reflects the firm’s design vision and standards.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead residential design projects from concept development through installation

  • Develop and present cohesive design concepts, mood boards, material palettes, and furnishing selections

  • Create and oversee detailed AutoCAD drawings, including floor plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, and custom details

  • Manage furniture, fixture, finish, lighting, plumbing, and material selections

  • Collaborate directly with clients, builders, architects, contractors, vendors, and consultants

  • Lead client presentations, site meetings, and project walkthroughs

  • Review construction documents, shop drawings, samples, and project specifications

  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, pricing, proposals, and design deliverables

  • Delegate tasks to junior designers and provide guidance, feedback, and mentorship

  • Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure selections, approvals, and orders remain on schedule

  • Identify project challenges, develop solutions, and communicate updates clearly to the appropriate parties

  • Lead installations and oversee final styling and on-site details

  • Maintain organization across multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities

 

What You Bring:

  • Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field

  • Five or more years of professional residential interior design experience

  • Experience independently managing projects from concept through completion

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating elevated design, creativity, and technical expertise

  • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD

  • Proficiency in Asana, Houzz Pro, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Google Workspace preferred

  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, furnishings, and custom detailing

  • Excellent leadership, organization, communication, and time-management skills

  • Confidence presenting to and communicating with clients

  • Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to lead, delegate, and take ownership

  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation

Junior Designer

Southlake, Texas (in-person)
Full-time position

We’re searching for a driven, highly organized Junior Designer with a passion for residential interiors. You thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented studio, and you know how to bring big ideas to life through AutoCAD, thoughtful sourcing, and team collaboration.

What You'll Do:

  • Create detailed AutoCAD drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and custom design details

  • Develop mood boards, material palettes, and overall design concepts

  • Source furniture, fixtures, finishes, and custom pieces

  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, consultants, and project partners

  • Assist with pricing, quotes, specifications, and purchase orders

  • Support the design team during installations and help manage on-site details

  • Maintain project timelines, balance multiple priorities, and help keep projects moving forward

 

What You'll Bring:

  • Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field

  • Three or more years of residential interior design experience

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating both creative and technical abilities

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD

  • Proficiency in Asana, Houzz Pro, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Google Workspace preferred

  • Excellent organization, communication, and time-management skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively while also taking ownership of assigned responsibilities

  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
